Using Outbound 4K means you accept these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the game.

The service

Outbound 4K is a free word game made as a personal, non-commercial-company project by Aviv and Hillel. It has no purchases, subscriptions or payments. It may show third-party ads, depending on your choice in the consent window.

Accounts

An account is optional. If you sign in, keep your Google account secure; you are responsible for what happens under it. We may close accounts that break these terms.

Age

The game is meant for ages 13 and up. Anyone under 13 may play only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian.

Your licence to play

We give you a personal, free, non-exclusive licence to play Outbound 4K in your browser for your own enjoyment. You may not sell, rent, re-host or put the game inside another site or app without our written permission. We can end this licence if you break these terms.

Acceptable use

• You may play, share your results and recommend the game.
• You may not harm the game or the servers that host it, try to get around its ads, or generate fake ad clicks.
• Fair play: no bots, scripts or tools that answer for you, no reading the answer lists out of the game's code to win, no exploiting bugs, and no tampering with saved data or another player's account.
• You may not copy and distribute the game, its question bank or its design, in whole or in part, without written permission.
• You may not use the game in any way that breaks the law.

Intellectual property

Outbound 4K's code, artwork, sounds, design and question bank belong to its makers, Aviv and Hillel. Names of films, games, brands, people and characters that appear in questions belong to their owners and are mentioned only as facts for the game, with no affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement. The fonts are used under the SIL Open Font License.

Scores, ranks and saved progress

Scores are calculated from the game's answer lists and are for fun only. The lists can change, and a correct answer may sometimes be missing from them. Scores, ranks and badges have no monetary value. Progress saved only in your browser can be lost if the browser's data is cleared, the browser crashes or you switch devices; signing in keeps a copy in your account, but we can't promise any save is never lost.

Ads and links

Ads and links to other websites come from third parties. We are not responsible for their content or for what happens after you click them.

Availability and liability

The game is provided free and "as is". We work to keep it running well, but we don't promise it will always be available or free of errors, or that your progress can't be lost, for example if your browser data is cleared. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage from using the game. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

Copyright complaints

If you believe something in the game infringes your rights, write to outbound4k@gmail.com with what it is, where it appears and why it's yours. We will look at it quickly and remove anything that shouldn't be there.

The name

This Outbound 4K is a free browser word game. It is not connected to, endorsed by or affiliated with any other game or product called Outbound, including the exploration game of that name by Square Glade Games.

Changes and ending the service

We may change the game or these terms, or stop offering the game. We will announce significant changes to the terms in the game and update the date on this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The courts of Israel have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.
