Accessibility statement
Last updated October 20, 2026
We want everyone to be able to play Outbound 4K. We build it to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the same level as the Israeli standard IS 5568.
What the game does
- You can play with a keyboard alone: Tab and Shift+Tab to move, Enter to select, Esc to close windows and to pause. Dialogs keep focus inside them while open.
- A clear focus outline marks the active control.
- Every button has a label for screen readers, and results, the timer and errors are announced.
- Text colours meet AA contrast, and the body font, Atkinson Hyperlegible, was designed for legibility.
- A "Relaxed" clock gives extra time, and the Freeze lifeline stops the clock.
- A "Reduced" motion setting turns off shaking and flashes, and the game follows your system's reduced-motion setting. A photosensitivity notice offers it on the first visit.
- You can type with a physical keyboard or use the large on-screen keyboard on phones.
- Sound and vibration can be turned off.
Known limitations
- The illustrated scenery is decorative and is not read aloud; everything it shows also appears as text.
- Third-party ads are not fully under our control.
